Our Museum
In 2003. twenty six years after the opening of our fist store, we opened our Mesoamerican Jade Museum.
Today, we exhibit over 70 different pieces that tell the story of the four main Mesoamerican cultures; Mokaya, Olmec, Maya and Aztec.
Our museum holds original pieces, as well as perfectly sculpted replicas made by our talented local artisans. The selection of pieces and their historical background will guide you through a fascinating journey in time, where you will learn the historical value of what our ancestors knew as “The stone of eternal life “; you will get to see this valuable stone in its natural state, learn about where it comes from, why it has different colors and shades, see the artisans turning the stone into a piece of art and delight yourself with the mysteries of the Mayan world.
VISIT our MUSEUM from the comfort of your HOME
You will also be able to experience the process of making true works of art worked by talented Guatemalan artisans and delight yourself with the mysteries of the Mayan world.
At Casa del Jade we have the authorization of the Ministry of Culture of Guatemala to be able to create replicas of different archaeological pieces, using the same techniques of our ancestors, so if you are a lover and collector of Mesoamerican Cultures, we invite you to learn more about each one of these pieces.
Your Nahual
According to the Mayan Cosmovision, every person at birth has a special link to a guardian animal that guides and protects them. With your birthdate we can tell you which one is yours

Great and Fun Tour!
We had a nice tour on how Jade jewelry is made. Jade is a precious stone found in Guatemala. This place offers free tours on a daily basis. They show you how jade is obtained and the different types available. You can buy plenty of nicely hand-crafted fine jewelry with jade stones. A nice place to go with kids.
